Youth Work Projects
Part of the Diamond Ranch Academy experience involves the development of a strong work ethic. Students are involved in various work projects on a daily basis. As students prepare to transition from academics to careers, we assist youth to understand the value of work. Cleanliness of dorms, and general maintenance of the facilities are stressed.
Work projects generally include, but are not limited to, food preparation, food service, yard maintenance, facility maintenance, Humanitarian Service Projects, quilting, small animal care, etc. The sense of accomplishment for a job well done is important for each student.
